Fixed Fees
Divorce 500
Fixed fee – £500 (plus VAT)
If you are the applicant starting the divorce application and need the reassurance of us dealing with your divorce application on your behalf. We will deal with all communications from the Court and the other party. This package does not include any complicating factors such as problems with service of the proceedings on the other party.
Included in this package:
- A consultation with one of our specialist solicitors
- Completion of all necessary paperwork to progress your divorce through to Final Order on your behalf
- Ongoing telephone support if required
Not included in this package:
- Court fee of £593
- Financial advice/settlement
- Advice/assistance in respect of arrangements for the children
- Additional expenses
Court fees are payable in respect of the divorce application, and you will need to provide us with sufficient funds at the start of your case to cover these fees in addition to our costs.
If you do not have your original marriage certificate available, we will need to apply for a certified copy to submit to the Court and there is a charge for this (currently £11.00).
If there is any doubt that your spouse has received (been served with) the divorce application from the Court, it will be necessary to prove to the Court he/she has received them. If this involves bailiff service and/or an enquiry agent then you will incur additional costs. In such cases, we would advise you at the earliest opportunity of that fact and give you a best estimate of the likely costs.
Divorce 250
Fixed fee – £250 (plus VAT)
If you are the respondent and have received divorce paperwork and need the reassurance of us dealing with your divorce application on your behalf. We will deal with all communications from the Court and the applicant. This package does not include any complicating factors such as defending the divorce.
Included in this package:
- A consultation with one of our specialist solicitors
- Completion of all necessary paperwork to progress your divorce application
- Ongoing telephone support if required
Not included in this package:
- An application for Final Order as a respondent
- Financial advice/settlement
- Advice/assistance in respect of arrangements for the children
- Additional expenses
It is usual for the sole applicant to make the application for a Final Order at the appropriate time, however should this not take place and you need to make the application an additional fixed fee can be arranged.

We can provide you with a personalised approach based on your own individual circumstances and can offer you advice and support when you require it, charging just for the time that we are involved.
